Back to my travels. When left off, we were in Linz. Visited this huge cathedral.

With both traditional stained glass\u2026\"\"<\/p>\n

And something more up my son Ian\u2019s alley. (He is a biochemist.)

\nThen another castle, but they put a modern section on top with a (pricey) restaurant.\"\"
\nInside they had a large museum. On the floor labeled \u201cNature of Upper Austria\u201d, they had a display of crocheted coral. Surprising for a landlocked country! \ud83d\ude06

\n\"\"<\/p>\n

They also had other nature displays, coincidentally including this giant replica of a tick!<\/p>\n

\nNext day we went to Krems, a really cute little town! We stayed in an apartment in this building, our favorite place so far!
\n\"\"
\nMy wrists were bothering me, so we took a train to Vienna. It\u2019s something called cyclist\u2019s palsy, similar to carpel tunnel. I think I\u2019ll need to do some PT when I get home. In the meantime, we are biking much shorter distances than Rick had originally envisioned. His return trip to Munich via the Alps will be challenging. Fewer days to do it, and he hasn\u2019t biked hard enough on the first half of the trip to kick into super athletic mode.
\nWe arrived by train in Vienna on Tuesday and rode our bikes to Schonbrun Palace. The palace is huge! And the grounds are even more huge – with lots of different gardens!

\nAnd even a zoo!\"\" \"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

We saw this big walrus chase away seals that clearly had the good spot!\"\" \"\" \"\"
