Every trip I now start thinking of how to get to the airport and home. Yet 10 days is a long time, and I just realized Florence is only 100 km from Bologna. As the crow flies. In the wrong direction. Across two mountain passes.<\/p>\n<p>I left Imola late this morning, as the castle in Imola didn&#8217;t open until 10:00 am.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irelandbybicycle.com\/rickpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/rps20180604_162633927350028.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"rps20180604_162633927350028.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.irelandbybicycle.com\/rickpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/rps20180604_162633927350028.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p> Even so, the long ride yesterday meant only 30 km to Bologna.
