While I finally selected the MSR Freelite as the best available option for a replacement tent, I’m still not happy with it. I’m not a huge fan of their two-man option in general, and the one-man they just hacked out the two-man part without addressing the design problems that causes.<\/p>\n
I decided I’d rather have a tent I like even if it’s a few more $. I’ve been scouring the Internet for another Mountain Hardwear SuperMega UL2, and I finally found someone selling one used in “like-new” condition. In Israel. Should be here in a few days.<\/p>\n
